Our Origin

Instinct Dance Company was just a dream for the owner, Jenna Toops, up until January 2020 when our doors finally opened! When looking for a name, she wanted to convey the authentic and significant role dance has played in her life. After searching and finally landing on the word “Instinct” four years earlier, the idea remained dormant until the time was right. Everything fell perfectly into place in every direction imaginable, and our wonderful location came to life! All of the leaders at the studio have an unbelievable love for this art form and strive to stay one step ahead in this ever changing industry. We are quick to adapt and consistently determined to give the highest quality dance classes for all ages in the Dayton area!
